Allergies or more?? Sore throat, lots of phlegm, nasal congestion...please help!? - nasal congestion more condition_symptoms

Hello everyone,

You do not know what my chances of med on a professional kind of response, but here goes. I have 3 doctors and they said that I have symptoms of allergies. However, not take something that works. My throat is so delicate cough all the time, I have a lot (of congestion and mucus from the nose, no strange color, thank God) and runny nose. I tried Sudafed, Alka Seltzer, Robitussin, and now a prescribed Flonase for Claritin.I two days ago. Even if I touch the sides of the neck (right below the base of my jaw, my glands are very sensitive).

I can not take it seriously, and the agony ... That lasted for 9 days now. Ideas? More severe or I'm exaggerating a bit? Should I wait outside?

Has anyone else experienced? Thank you.

Girl: Do you have a fever? Allergies do not cause fever. If you have a fever, then it is a different matter. Angina is usually a sign of allergy. If you went to the Dominican Republic, they exchange a sore throat? The swollen glands are also against allergies. Most colds run in 10 days. 9, and since you do not feel better, there are good chances of infection. The only way to have to rule out allergy skin or blood tests. Never accept a diagnosis of allergies, without any of the two. It is strange that you would see three different doctors in 9 days, the diagnosis of allergies without proof. So, to me a real doctor. Get a white blood cell count and a strep swab. You specify or exclude an infection. If an infection is ruled out, while insisting on the allergy test. But frankly, are a sore throat and swollen glands are not typical of allergies.

Take a Benadryl every night and all day long. Benadryl is an allergy medicine for more there, even prisciption drugs are not as powerful as Benadryl. I have nasal allergies and Benadryl is always useful.

Looks like you need to take additional measures ... and consult a specialist. You will see talk of three doctors, but what you saw, and allergist and ENT? Otherwise, I recommend you begin. Check to see an allergist when it comes to allergies and, if so, what are allergic, so that you can receive appropriate treatment.

In addition, I propose that the ENT (ear, nose and throat), because it may be allergies, but is a condition of the chest instead. It is entirely possible that your symptoms. A cold normally ending in 7 to 10 days, so I think this is more comparable to infection of the sinuses, not cold. I want to make my first ENT specialist to the allergist and ENT, where they also think that allergies to view it.

Please consult with specialists, so you can go to the root of their problems and for successful treatment.
